About
Most AI never makes it to work.
It gets demoed, discussed, budgeted, and then quietly abandoned because nobody defined what it was supposed to do. Clock In exists to close that gap.
Founding belief
The AI works fine. Nobody ever gave it a job.
Any business can get capable AI now. It costs twenty dollars a month. What almost nobody does is decide what it should own, plug it into the systems where the work actually lives, and hold it to a standard the way they would hold a person to one.
Businesses do not fail at this because the models are not good enough. They fail because the work was never written down, nobody set the limits, and nobody was on the hook for the result.
So we treat every build like a hire. Define the role. Set the standard. Put it to work. Manage the performance.
Human-centered by design
People keep the judgment. AI takes the repetition.
The work is designed with the people doing it
The person who currently owns a process helps define the role that supports it. Nothing is built over anyone's head.
Judgment stays where it belongs
Pricing, hiring, sensitive client matters, and anything with real consequence route to a person by design.
Capacity, not headcount reduction
We build for the work a growing team cannot get to, so people spend their hours on the parts that need them.
Your team can explain how it works
Every build is documented and handed over. No black box, no dependency on us to understand your own operation.
Founder
Karima Williams
Karima Williams is not technical, and that turns out to be the point. She spent years running marketing and operations for growing companies, which means she has done the work she now hands to AI employees, and she knows which parts of it actually need a person.
She runs seven AI employees inside Karima Digital, and they handle about 70% of the marketing. She built two apps that found real audiences fast: 21,000 users in 23 days for the PG Voter Guide, and 191,000 on Crash Out Diary. At 5T Management she trained ten operators and deployed thirty-one AI employees in ninety days. She wrote The AI Playbook, and her work has been featured on Oprah's podcast, Business Insider, Essence, and AfroTech.
She also leads AI Power Lab, a community for people learning to use AI seriously inside their own businesses. Clock In is where that work gets done for you instead of taught to you.
Operating principles
How we work, every time.
- P-01
Understand the work first
No build starts before we can describe the job in a sentence anyone in the company would recognize.
- P-02
Say when AI is the wrong answer
Sometimes the fix is a better process, a cleaner handoff, or one fewer step. We will tell you.
- P-03
Build for the exception
Any system handles the easy case. The value is in what happens when something is unusual.
- P-04
Leave the business more capable
Documentation, training, and clear ownership are part of the deliverable, not an upsell.
- P-05
Measure it like a hire
A role has expectations, a review, and a record. So does every employee we clock in.
- P-06
Protect what is yours
Your data, your knowledge, your client relationships. Access is scoped to the role and nothing more.
